Come face to face with sharks off Gansbaai, with responsible, licensed operators.
Gansbaai, near Hermanus, has long been one of the world's best-known shark-cage-diving sites. Shark populations have shifted in recent years, so operators now encounter a range of species, including bronze whalers. We use licensed operators who put the animals' welfare first.

No diving qualification is needed: you'll wear a wetsuit and mask and stay at the surface in the cage. Non-divers can watch from the deck.
